Let's get drawing relations so we can automate parameters in drawings. For instance, automatically create a drawing name based on some criteria or to automatically modify the sheet numbering, etc. Currently, drawing relations do not exist and it forces many people to manually enter and remember to change drawing parameters when a drawing gets updated.
While it's understandable that the drawing should be driven by parts/assemblies, there are instances where changes are necessary. Some clients require sheet numbering to stay the same even though a particular sheet is deleted (for traceability reasons). Or sheets in a drawing may be used for a different purpose and therefore have different numbering. Drawing parameters could be modified based on other drawing or model parameters. The problem arises that since we are currently forced to manually enter this data in the drawing, if a change occurs, we run the risk of forgetting minor changes that occur through the drawing that were manually entered. It breaks the parametric paradigm of which Creo should be the epitome.
