Drawing template with shown dimensions placed in particular views

Hello all,

I am trying to create a drawing template with 3 planer views and to show all dims. The only problem is that with show all dims, the dims show up all bunched up in one view. Is there a way to show all dims in there appropriate views?

Thanks for your help!

John,
Yes this is possible but you have to calculate the position of the dimension yourself. It's not trivial but I have some (lengthy) code that will place the dimension based upon the outline of the drawing view. It's not perfect in every case but it is MUCH more clean that just showing the dimensions.
