We are producing drawings that accurately reflect our paint schemes by using colored (shaded) views. We are encountering difficulties when using tabulated drawings. What we would like is one drawing and a view of each color. Unfortunately, we are not able to "snapshot" (save as draft objects - who thought that one up?) a shaded view, we're on WF3.0. I know that I could go in and change every surface to the right color in the top model but you know how that is when the manager is tapping his foot behind you. The colors are derived from a base model and carried through our published and copy geometry commands. Any thoughts on this, currently we are storing a top model of each color which is fine while there are one or two colors but seven or eight - not so good.
