Enclosing text in drawing note - copy paste issues

Hi, see attached gif I want to copy text from outside of creo (notepad or another text editor). I cant seem to copy text as "enclosed text". I try to copy "@[Enclosed text @] some other text" into a drawing note and it doesn't work. after I click properties, I need to delete the extra @ creo added. see attached gif am I doing something wrong?

I am getting the same thing in Creo 7.0.  It also happens when typing in the brackets in the note.

This probably changed when they added the box button for box to the ribbon.  Definitely not good change for those used to being able to type in the text needed for a box or wanting to use copied text.

There is always more to learn in Creo.

If you are seeing that existing functionality has been removed, then please open a call with support so that it gets documented. Support may provide a workaround that was not documented (happens often with enhancements). When you open the call post the call details to this thread.

Don't copy and paste, use the "Note from File" command in the "Format" tab.

You could use a Symbol, but you still have to input the text.

Not sure if you recently upgraded, but back when I moved to Creo 4.0. The text changed to WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) and ever since then I have either do the same edit that you are doing or open the text box and paste directly into that. If you paste into the text box verses on the drawing, it should work correctly without adding the additional "@" symbols.
