Engineering vs True stress-strain?

Hello,

We're attempting to perform a analysis using a non-linear hyperelestic material (similar to santoprene) using Creo 3.0 M070.  We have the engineering stress strain data for import, but I've received conflicting reports on which stress-strain data should be used.  A previous thread mentioned it needed to be the true stress-strain, but when the data is imported, it labels the axis as engineering stress-strain (see attached).  This is a bit of a rudimentary question, but I haven't found a definitive answer.  Any guidance that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.

We've tried running the analysis using both, but have failed to converge.  The error messages are a bit vague, so it's taking us a little bit of time to diagnose the problem.  We've reduced the load greatly, and re-run the analysis using a material without the imported data, and is resolves fine.  We believe the issue is with the material or with something else we're missing.
