File / Edit menu Location

Anyone know whythe File / Edit menu is on thethe Right-hand side, under the windows Close button in WF 5 drawing mode. Can it be moved back to the “normal” spot on the left side?

It's because PTC is required to follow Microsoft guidelines that allow the "Ribbon" interface. In order for PTC to get the "Certified for MS-Windoze" logo, they need to follow suit, just like the others. It is kind of a bummer 😞

When I last looked at Microsofts spec, it didn't say the ribbon
interface was required. It said if you use the ribbon interface this is
what to do.

Any way, theres an option at least to move it on the left.

Tools > Customize Screen... > Toolbars (Tab) > Menu

choose "Left" for the menu location.
