I have a detail drawing of a upper housing with a shown dimension (dxxxx) as
follow:
2X @D-40 UNC-2B HELICAL COIL
INSERT THD PER NASM33537
.19 MIN FULL THD DEPTH
NO BREAK THRU PERMISSIBLE
PITCH DIA
GD&T
This dimension disappears when I open the drawing by itself. While still
having this drawing open, if I open any other drawings (top level, envelop,
sub-assembly, other parts etc) I notice the following:
Same directory (working directory) or different directory other than working
directory:
- Open any drawings, parts or assembly - Dimension reappears - Performing
a #view, #update, #all sheet - Dimension disappears - Close the other
drawing, parts or assembly - Dimension reappears - #view, #update, #all
sheet - Dimension disappears.
Have anyone ever ran into this situation? What could cause this behavior?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
