Hi !
Am now bee to Creo.
Having a .sldprt file am hoping to modify as per attached.
Some of sldprt files can be modified by Creo but some of not.
1. Per my try, some of .step can be modified but some of .stp are not.
Are they different ?
2. Some reading say solid and surface files are different. To modify, imported files must be solidifyed ?
Anyone can advise me any reason why and how to treat it.
Much appreciated in advance for kind supports.

Gus,
Could you clarify your requirement?
File which you have attached is from Solidworks and imports in Creo.
If there is any imported surface model, you can solidify using IDD tool (Import Data Doctor). If you have any imported surface model you cannot remove material by extrude cut.
