How do you use external copy to create circuit card assembly with only two components in it?

Pro Gurus:

ProE creates a circuit card assembly using emp and emn files. The original
ProE CCA X1234-1 needs to be cleansed for Teamcenter such that it only have
two componens, the PCB and all sub-components combined into one. Our
company contract this job out. Unfortunately, I don't have direct
contractor contact and stumble on some of the CCA files that haven't been
cleansed yet. Does anyone here have an idea how this could be done? Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Make a simplified rep. showing all the sub-components and save it as a Shrinkwrap with merge solid and all component included using the Find Tool.

Try exporting all the parts as a STEP file and use the option to make it a single part:

During the "save-as" "step" dialog, go to "File Structure" and select "Single File"

Then you can open the STP file as a part (PRT) and it will be one level. Insert that into the board assembly.
