Dear Ptc'ers,
We're looking to automate our plastic part analysis, the process is always the same:
Importing .stp files
x, y, z dimensions (bounding box)
volume
start thickness analysis and plot image (why not export then the 3D pdf?)
start draft analysis (user input for the correct vector) and export image or 3D pdf
Injecting the dimensions into a spreadsheet
Not so complicated, and with NX I had the oppurtunity to make quickly macro's for such processes.
But where to start with Creo?
Thanks for your answers!
Have you tried with mapkeys?
Two or three between interactive user input (file name, vector) should do most of it.
Only copying dimensions to spreadsheets wouldn't be so easy.
