How to convert a Creo Parametric in a DXF file according with ASTM standard D6673 / D6963

Hi all,

I am looking for a way to create a dxf file from the Creo Parametric
drawing in such a way that it can directly be fed into a cutting machine for
textile fabrics.

The problem I encounter is the creation of blocks in the dxf that
interferes with the sut-up of the layers. Basically I can have two different
outcomes but I would like to have a combination.

I have an assembly with 4 parts, each representing a part that later on
will be stitched together. Different elements are placed on different layers. I
can either export with the result:

  • The correct elements on the correct layers

or

  • Each view as block in the dxf but this removes the items from the layers

Instead, I would like to have the blocks created but also the layers with their assigned elements preserved.

Any suggestions or experience that some-one likes to share with me?

Kind
regards,

Arjan.
