How to eliminate weld sequence numbers from symbols.

To remove the weld sequence # from the reference tail on a weld symbol created with Pro/Weld, you need to edit the weld symbol and remove the reference text from the symbol. To edit a weld symbol, from a drawing, go to format->symbol gallery->redefine and select the symbol you want to edit. After editing, select "write" to save the updated symbol.

Note: the new symbol without the weld sequence will only be valid on new assemblies (i.e. existing assemblies using weld symbols created from Pro/Weld will not be updated and cannot be updated).

Does the Weld sequence, Keep ID in sequence Do anything? It Keeps the weld ID number the same regardless of subsequent actions.

Has someone already revised the weld symbols? Are they available ? Can't PTC do this?

Unchecking the REFERENCE removes the sequence number and the TAIL lines.

See CS50009 and CS118155.

This is for the 3D annotation weld symbols.

Your help is most welcome.
