How to enable 'Advanced Assembly Extension' by default whenever Creo is opened. We had Creo 7 previously where it was enabled always. After upgrading to Creo 9, we have to go options and enable the extension manually every time we open Creo. What setting we need to change to get it enabled permanently.

Hi @tbraxton
Your idea of reconfiguring worked. First of all, thanks for that. But my requirement here is to deploy this change to my whole team. We have a start script in a shared drive from where we launch creo. Can I edit something here so that whole team when they launch Creo, they will get this extension by default?
Hi,
a change executed using reconfigure is saved into psf file located in Parametric\bin subdirectory. You can simply copy modified psf file to all other machines.
Run the reconfigure tool and confirm that AAX is configured as a startup extension. You should see this listed as shown below if it is set up to start with Creo launch. It is possible that it is currently set up as a floating option which means a used would have to add it to a session of Creo manually.

You should be able to use a script to launch Creo for all users with the AAX extension at startup (assuming you have enough licenses of AAX). If you have 10 users and only 1 AAX floating option, then obviously that will not work. I am not an SME on sysadmin or deployment issues so someone else may have to offer some guidance here for your specific scenario. Your VAR or reseller should have certainly supported your upgrade so perhaps ask them for assistance.
