How to enable in Creo 3 the Creo Advanced Framework Extension (AFX)?

It's an assembly function so you have to be in an assembly (not a part).

There is a Framework tab.

You also need the appropriate Creo license for the extension. I don't really know how to verify that.

I could be wrong but doesn't Advanced Framework come with the base Creo?

You have to make sure it's checked to be installed?

Almost forgot you need this in the config.pro.

afx_enabled yes

I was looking at mine, I don't have that option set. By default, AFX is enabled. Only if it was specifically disabled (afx_enable is specifically set to NO in the config.pro) would you need to change it.

Ah.  I forgot this post is for Creo 3.  I am still on Creo 2 and the default is no.
