How to model a knot in Pro-E

I am looking to model a knot in Pro-E and was wondering if anyone has a good way of doing this?

As in a knotted shoe string? Yep...did some of that in my day.

A few intersected sketches and a VSS or a Swept Blend (depending on the final look you want).

Is there a picture or anything you could show us as a reference?

I model myself into knots all the time, but it's not on purpose. 🙂

Would this be a simple half-knot or a double-half-knot...

Or perhaps a bow-knot (like for your shoes)...

A Figure-8-Knot... or maybe an Alpine-Butterfly-Loop knot... ???

Hmm... that's significantly different to what I know as a Trucker's Hitch (which is essentially the same as the Waggoner's Hitch) 😉

The Barrel Hitch looks nifty!

Do we have a link to those knots?

This is the version of the WH I know:
