How to set colors in NCcheck / Vericut

I am using WF5 m040 ,with vericut 6.2.4 as the NCcheck option, in Windows 7, 64 bit.

When I launch NCcheck for a sequence, the 'fixture' models are colored red, and the stock is yellow. NOT GOOD. Gouges are red.

The colors of the models in WF5 have no effect.

The color definition as shown in Vericut is 'inherited', but the WF5 product colors are not used.

How do I change the default model colors in NCcheck / Vericut? config options?

If you right click on the stock model inthe project on the left side of the screen brings up a box where you can change the compnent attributes. one of which is model color. I wish i new how to make this a permanent change but I haaven't figured that out yet.

Thanks, this is what I was doing as a work-around.

But, who writes this stuff?

Maybe I could write a 'mapkey' macro in NC check to change the colors to something sensible.

If you look at TAN146672 this issue has been resolved in the M050 release of Wildfire 5.0

The TAN 146672 talks about issues relating to AUTO-DIFF. I will check to see if this also applied to default colors...

Strange i'm running WF5 M60 and I still needed to fix it. ?? oh well it works for me now.

Here is a document that was posted in another thread that should solve this issue also. Thanks

to Nick Mihelich for sharing it.
