How to set contact interface so that two parts will not collide against each other?

Hi, I am trying to simulate a case like below:

Problem1.JPG

Problem : The part collided (pierced through) the rigid body instead of reacting (pushed back) by rigid body.

I would like to analyse the stress due to limited place of expansion.

I would be very grateful if anyone could show me some lights.

Best Regards,

Kah Wee
