Imported .stp file has different line style than other geometry in the drawing

I imported a .stp file and added it to an assembly. The geometry of that part has a different line color than the rest of the geometry in the assembly. I have other imported .stp files in the assembly that are displayed correctly. What could be wrong with this part, and how can I fix it?

That part is not solid. it remains purple when it is a quilt. you might be able to correct this with the import data doctor (IDD).

If you want to attach the STP file, I can take a look at it if you like.
