I am needing to create a note with some sort of a relation/parameter that will grab the generics name. For instance, I have a note that I put &dwg_name in, this grabs the part number of the drawing I am putting it in eliminating the need to edit the note every time I insert it into a drawing. My new note I need is a bit more complicated. I need to put a note on the drawing of an instance and have it grab the name of the generic. I am hoping to use the "instance name" from the family table since it will always be there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
