Is it Possible to Develop Blank of Deep Drawn Sheetmetal Components.

Hi all,

I am trying to develop Blank of a deep drawn sheetmetal component, but not able to do so.

I have modeled the same in solid part environment and converted to sheet metal.

pls help, could anyone suggest methodology to handle these type of components. (model attached)

Unfortunately this isn't going to truly draw due to the distance between the long side and the edge of the material. The limiting draw ratio simply won't allow it. You may be able to stretch form it, but Creo's sheetmetal isn't going to unform it. You need to use metalforming simulation tools like Pam-Stamp, AutoForm, Dynaform, etc.
