Isogrid on a outer surface side

Dear Creo experts

I would like to apply the isogrid, or better hexagonal net, on the outer side of surface in attached file. The quilt is unflattenable. I have study the examples above, the trajectory rib method, but no way, not works properly on the open side surface.

I have just no idea how to do that.

Thanks for support.

You did not document what version of Creo you are using.

Take a look at this thread for some ideas on how to create a hex cellular array. The easiest way to do this is typically to use a lattice feature from the additive manufacturing module if you have access to it. There are some other methods using core Creo features but they are tedious.
