Issue with Mirroring a Feature in Creo: Original Feature Disappears

I'm currently facing a peculiar issue in Creo and could use some advice. I've created a part with a specific feature - a hole cut out. The problem arises when I attempt to mirror this feature. While the mirroring process itself seems successful, the original hole cut out disappears.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? What could be causing the original feature to vanish upon mirroring, and more importantly, how can it be resolved? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

More info needed. State what version of Creo you are using (educational license?). Post the model with the "failed" feature.

See image below

Not an education license. We have the standard one.

Including the model tree in the screenshot would be helpful for us to understand how you created the part.

There is always more to learn in Creo.

Hi,

please upload your model.

cannot upload.

can you at least expand the model tree? - I am guessing that there is a mirror cutout feature there, but it "overlaps" the original.

Put your model in a .zip or .rar file before uploading.

Hi,

error message lists support name extensions...

You can rename yourmodel.prt.1 to yourmodel.prt and upload yourmodel.prt.

My method ... pack yourmodel.prt.1 into yourmodel.zip and upload yourmodel.zip
