Libraries auto-make workspaces.

Yesterday I made a library in Windchill Intralink for common parts,
called Schematic_Wiring. Now today all my users have a workspace in
their workspace list called workspace on Schematic_Wiring. Is this
expected behavior?

We have always noticed this behavior as well.
We always see a list of workspaces for each product & library.
However, there is no actual workspace of that name.
But if it is selected, the workspace is created at that time.

I find this rather confusing and wish that these non-existant workspaces would not be displayed.

Mark,

That is the behavior my PDMLink 9.1 m062 exhibits. Not sure how to limit the display though.

Isn't there a configuration setting in Windchill for this? I thought I heard of one in the exploder, but a search didn't turn anything up.

This functionality was different in 8.0 which therefore required the config option. I believe in 9.0 + the workspace doesn't actually exist as was previously mentioned. Many people ask this question but the answer from PTC is always the same which is the workspace doesn't actually exist.
