I wanted to know what would be the best method of running modal analysis on a very large assembly that has several sub assemblies and those sub assemblies have alot of parts. The model is non symmetric so I cannot leverage that for my analysis. So what choices do I have. Is it necessary to define all the material properties and contacts for the subassemblies or is there a way around it as this is very time consuming and may takes weeks to solve. Is there an easier way.
