Mechanism Gear&Rack

New to Mechanism

I have a gear and rack assembly (only basic components shown for clarity)

This single assembly simulates correctly in Mechanism when dragging the rack.

What I need to do is assemble multiple units into a main assembly and drive those units with one link bar (shown as blue line)

I can’t seem to get the connection correct, any tips?

And what are the rules with patterns and connections, do’s don’ts tips & tricks?

Thanks all

JSCOTT

Sorry for the premature post,

If I had kept at it for another 5 minutes..

For every new assembly added, I redefined the link bar and added a new connection.

Too bad there wasn’t a YouTube video on this, cough.. NUETECH

Yes PTC and YouTube have some video’s on Mechanism, but very limited
