We are moving our server environment to the hosted cloud vendor; I was told that we may need a new license/certificate for the Windchill license server to be active in the new environment? We are using a VMware VM in the new environment. So, what do we need to provide to make this happen?
"The system is not available. There could be a server error or your credentials could be invalid or expired (for example, you may have entered the wrong password or your account may be locked). Contact your help desk or administrator for assistance."
That looks like a Creo license request error, not a Windchill license error.
For Creo, you'll need to make sure that the parametric.psf file is referencing the correct server location.
Did your license server move to the cloud as well? if so I agree with @joe_morton - make sure your startup files are pointed to the right license server... also, the cloud vendor needs to make sure the port is open on their firewall so you can actually get to it...
You can easily test that with powershell
Test-NetConnection -ComputerName licenseserverfqdn -Port portnumber
Test-NetConnection -ComputerName creolicense.company.com -Port 1029
