Model Tree Drag / Drop imprecise in Windows 7

Using Wildfire 4. Recently moved from Windows XP to Windows 7.

I'm having trouble dragging / dropping the Insert Here arrow in the
right spot or dragging / dropping reordered features in the right spot.
They always seem to drop one feature above or below where I want to drop
them. Never had problems dropping in the right place on Windows XP.

Using an Intel "Sandy Bridge" workstation with NVidia's Optimus
technology enabled. Don't know if that has anything to do with it or
not. The NVidia GPU Activity icon says the Pro/E window is using the
discrete graphics (Quadro 3000M).

Anyone else seen this? Thoughts?

I get the same thing on a HP EliteBook 8740w with a Nvidia Quadro FX3800M.

I have the same issue. It paints multiple black lines sometimes and the location where you want to drop does not show the black line, so you don't know if it's correctly located.

We are running Dell Precision T3500 Workstations with Quad Core Xeon's (i7 architecture), 6 GB of DDR3 RAM and NVidia QuadroFX 3800 with 1.5 GM of video RAM on board.

You would think this workstation is good enough. hmmmmm.

Could it be Windows 7?

Could it be Nvidia?

Could it be Wildfire 5? NOOOOOO. That's crazy talk. I mean, WF5 does everything else so great, how could they mess up this simple function. ( I hope you pick up on my sarcasm)

I was going through my Prouser emails, cleanup time..

Not sure if you have received a reply on this topic or not but

In Windows 7, turn off the Aero Experience under Personalization, this
will stop the multiple lines while dragging an item within the model
tree.

Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization

Start out by selecting the windows classic theme
