Hi All,
I was wondering what is the best way to model a linear slide.
- You have the rail in one assembly and the carriage in a separate one ( this require blanking some part in the BOM on the drawing)
- You use the slide connection ( create issue when the assembly is over constrained with the creation of redundant connection)
- you use a flexible assembly
- you create a relation at the assembly level.
- do not constrained the carriage completly and leave it "packaged"
Any other suggestion and comment about the pro's and cons are welcome.
