Need instructions to create user defined symbol

I've create one or two user defined symbols in the past, but it was many versions ago. Currently on WF5. Seems like I'm able to create a symbol, but do not see where it is storing .sym file, so that I can store for use in other drawings in our system symbols folder. I must be missing something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The symbols is stored relative to the path set in config option
pro_symbol_dir. You can change this in the current session to point to
your workspace. Just it enter when you write the symbol for storage.

If stored outside Windchill you can add the sym extention to the config
option allow_import_file_extension to import it to a Windchill workspace
and check it into a library to have it under revision control.

Bjarne
