PTC_MODIFIED as Boolean error pops up in ModelCheck after replace by Copy

When I replace a component in assembly by copy, it retrieves the startpart. When I save the new component, ModelCheck triggers with the error that the value of Booleantype parameter PTC_MODIFIED is missing.

When I create new parts, with the same startpart, everything is ok. Any clue?

PTC_MODIFIED is a reserved symbol name in Creo 2.

Sounds like something got stuck in your assembly.

Can you submit this assembly to PTC as a support case?

They should probably look at this.

Hi, I noticed the following. When you create a component from scratch, as in Replace by Copy or Create new from assembly, and you save this model for the FIRST time, ModelCheck triggers with the error of PTC_Modified parameter missing.

When I do NOTHING in ModelCheck, and save it again, the error is gone. Probably due to the fact that the part in "known" in windchill. So save twice fixed the issue. Still strange issue is that when I create a new parts, it does not occur.

Thanks for the response.
