What more to say. It had PTC on the tops of the mirrors; Mazak bought the part of the mirrors that got bug smashed.
Computervision/PTC has been a sponsor and CAD supplier to Team Penske for 30 years.
They have always had their logo on the mirrors, sometimes the top and sometimes the back (Bug smashed area).
Really cool, here's the best photo I could find:
PTC used to be a sponsor for Rahal Letterman racing here in Columbus, but it looks like they aren't anymore. We've had a couple of user group meetings at their facility, Bobby Rahal even made an appearance once. We got a nice tour and saw the BMW North America heritage racing collection that was housed at their facility when they were BMW's racing team.
Rahal Letterman is still the BMW factory team. It is run out of their Hillard shop, the old TrueSport shop that Jim Trueman used when Bobby won Indy in 1986.
The current Indy team is run out of a shop in Indianapolis, norh of the speedway. There are about 7 teams in that area of Indianapolis.
Penske is indeed a long-time PTC Creo user. They talked to us last year about their 2013 NASCAR body.

Dallara, who designed and built the IndyCar safety cell, use PTC Creo for their whole range of car designs. Their support truck at IndyCar races has a big logo for PTC on the side of their trailer.
