Parameter PTC_MATERIAL_TYPE

can somebody tell me what does number 9 means in parameter PTC_MTERIAL_TYPE?

As a SWAG, the only thing I can think of is the number is a default placeholder value

If you edit the material definition

(file > prepare > model properties, select to change the material then RMB the assigned material selecting properties)

select the User Defined tab (just below Density) and a table appears.

I was playing around by adding information (select the green "+" at bottom left)

It looks to be somewhat similar to some values in the .mtl file.
