Pro/Engineering Wildfire 5.0

I am using Pro/ENGINEER and Creo Elements/Pro Release Wildfire 5.0 and DatecodeM050

Dear Support Team,
I would like to request the installation package for Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5.0 (Creo Elements/Pro 5.0), along with the compatible version of the FLEXnet License Server, in order to use the perpetual floating licenses we own.
Thank you for your support.
Best regards,
Bompani Team

Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5 is 16 years old and is no longer supported by PTC.

We are users on the user forum, not employees of PTC. I have no idea where you will be able to obtain an installation package for this old software. I can only think of two possibilities:

(1) Contact PTC and see if they can help you out. If I remember correctly, at the time that version was current, we were still receiving installation media on a CD or DVD.

(2) Contact a reseller of PTC products. Maybe if they've been in the business long enough, they might have copies of the old stuff, or they might have a better suggestion as to how you can get what you need.

I think no matter what you will still have to contact someone at PTC or a reseller. If you are trying to install the software that would mean you are likely putting it on a new computer. If so, then your Host ID for the license will change. This means you'll need a new PTC-generated license file. Otherwise, FlexLM won't work for you.

Good luck.

If you already had the software installed on a computer that is still accessible, you can copy the installation from that computer to your new computer. There was nothing special about the installation that requires the installation media. Once copied over, you ptcsetup.bat (or prosetup.bat, i don't remember when that change happened) to connect your licensing.

I don't know if flexlm software can be copied like the creo - pro/e software.
