Hi,

which Creo version do you use?

Rendering is executed by Keyshot engine. By default rendering is done by CPU.

Suggestion:

Open Task Manager and activate Performance tab. You will see the load of CPU/GPU/Memory.

Information shown by Task Manager can explain the behavior of Creo rendering operation.

Hi,

CPU load shown on published image tells you that CPU resources are completely exhausted.

Note: I do not understand why CPU is running and 2.5 GHz frequency, only.

I think that i7-12850HX processor is not suitable for complicated rendering tasks.

Suggestion: Create simple model (eq. cylinder) a test its rendering.

According to https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/228442/intel-core-i712850hx-processor-25m-cache-up-to-4-80-ghz/specifications.html document, the processor contains:

  • 8 Performance-cores ... Max Turbo Frequency 4.80 GHz ... 16 Threads
  • 8 Efficient-cores ... Max Turbo Frequency 3.40 GHz ... 8 Threads

I guess Keyshot engine does not like shared use of fast and slow cores. You can try disabling the use of slow cores.

RAM

How much memory is consumed by rendering? Please publish picture of Task manager, again.

GPU

What GPU is installed in your computer. I guess that it is not supported for running rendering tasks.

https://support.ptc.com/help/creo/creo_pma/r10.0/usascii/index.html#page/rendering/rendering_configuration_options.html#

I think that your config.pro does not contain advanced_rendering_mode option. This means that advanced_rendering_mode auto is set by default -AND- Creo "Runs Render Studio in GPU mode if the system hardware supports it, otherwise runs the application in CPU mode."

Post your settings that you use for rendering.
