Hello, is it possible to set the Remove feature with "Leave open" mode checked by default? Sometimes I leave it unchecked by mistake and start collecting surface patches, but Creo slows down trying to calculate ways of closing the quilt. If possible, I would set the Creo config with "Leave open" checked (also, I prefer to uncheck it after selecting a bunch of patches, instead of waiting each time a new patch is added). Thank you in advance.

There is not config option to control this. The simplest way to deal with this is a mapkey. If it is something you need to use repeatedly, create a mapkey that invokes the remove function and checks the leave open option.

@tbraxton Thank you for replying. I had thought about using a mapkey, but that means "training" other colleagues to use it (and get used to the keys combination) instead of opening the Remove feature from the ribbon as we're all doing now. It's totally acceptable, I admit, but my preference would have been to set it in the config options (if available).
It is possible to add mapkeys to the ribbon so you can place your custom remove tool in the UI to be selected from the ribbon.

Thanks again! I knew about it, but I'm not used to add them to the ribbon. I will very likely add the "remove - leave open" in the UI and make it easier for colleagues. Regards
