Removing unplaced members from Repeat Region

The issue is that all unplaced members appear in the repeat region table that is being used to create bom balloon keys. This keeps us from being able to "show all" BOM Balloons until the table has been simplified. Our only solution is to suppress all unplaced members from the CAD assembly, this is time consuming leaves room for error. We want to be able to have the BOM in the repeat region recognize unplaced membership and omit them from the table. The repeat region is formatted as follows KEY: &rpt.index QTY: &rpt.qty Part-Number: &asm.mbr.name Type: &asm.mbr.type Version: &asm.mbr.PTC_WM_VERSION *see attachment Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure you can filter unplaced components from the BOM in the BOM itself, but you can use the filter tool to suppress all the unplace by searching for component by status "unplaced".

Sounds good C M. I will look into this. Do you know how to write this filter? I do not know how to write the filter code for this parameter. Any help would be great! Thanks!

In the assembly model use the search tool. If you are using WF4 you could also create a layer with a rule for unplaced components.
