In short, parts and assemblies declared to a layout show the layout parameters, but you cannot directly use them in a drawing note.Another relation in the part or assembly has to reference the layout parameter for it to show in the drawing.
Example: Layout parameter is order_num. In the drawing of a part that this layout is declared to the note reads: Order number: &order_num.This does not work.In the part relations you have to create another relation and set it to the layout parameter and then the note works: part_order_num=order_num. Note is entered as Order number: &part_order_num.This works.Any way around the extra step?
