Rotating

How do I rotate a part around its own axis in an assembly drawing?

I know this is probably very basic but its not happening for me!

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

In the layout tab, right click on the view and pick properties.

In the view type, in the view orientation box, check the angles box.

With the axises turned on, go to the rotational reference and drop down to the edge/axis.

Put in the angle value that you want to rotate remembering the right hand rule for positive and negative angles.

Or if it doesn't go the right direction, repeat, picking the same axis and putting in double the negative value.

Thanks,

Dale

Meant to say I'm using wildfire 4.0.

Dale, thanks for the reply but its not working. I'm not seeing properties when I right click.
