Creo2 can do some things Wildfire did not do with regards to rounds. In particular, it appears that Creo2 will round difficult geometry by "overlapping and traversing" up/over/into adjacent rounds that were there before the new round is attempted. That's cool stuff.....Catia has been doing this for years....but it's a little sticky in our world.
Has anyone run into any issues with importing Creo2 STEP datainto Wildfire (4 in this case) that is considered 1. overlapping, 2. degenerate 3. inverted?
We have a tooling source that is running WF4 for molds and is getting hit with tons of "geom checks" that are slowing/halting their progress.I have even heard that these issues are "show stoppers" for them.
I am not sure what to do for themin this case since Creo2 considers everything I have done okay for itself.
