Hello all; I was just wondering if there was any way or any program out there that lets you update a BOM in Excel for instance, and then run a batch file to update at the drawing or even the part level in ProE. For example, at our top level assembly, our BOM has over a thousand parts, and if we want to keep those parts separate by how they're made (ie laser cut or plasma cut) we give them a code L or P. Say for instance we want to change all the "L" parts at once to "LP", is there any way that I can do this in a BOM in a database somewhere and have all the part level proe files update? I hope this is clear. I guess my general question is, since there is a way for proE to do a BOM dump into excel, is the reverse possible aswell? Thanks!
