STEP Files For Pro cabling

Could anyone explain me about creating STEP files for Pro Cabling assembly in wildfire

There is an export option, to export cable surfaces.

However, it works correctly only since Creo Elements/Pro 5.0

For Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire a workaround was required, as the cable surfaces were only exported with the surface option and not with the solid option.

The workaround required setting config.pro option step_export_format ap214_cd and exporting in two steps (solid for models and surface for the cables).
