Saving Custom Symbols - How?

How do you save a custom symbol?  I created four, and I could not find a way to save them.  Thanks in advance.

Annotate tab, Symbol Gallery:

Write:

Pick the symbol, or select from list, then enter a path to write it.  Make sure you enter the full path.
