We are working in large assemblies that contain about 2000 different parts. Some parts are fasteners that are used many times so total parts displayed may be several times that. I open the assembly in graphics rep mode along with simplified reps, we are running pipes and cables. If I run a search on a file name to make master to work on, the search window takes from 1 to 10 minutes just to pop up, then another 1 to 5 minutes to find the file name. Average time to use the binocular and find a model is 5-8 minutes. That seems to be a lot of waiting for a 3ghz 64 bit machine with 8 gig RAM and only 3 gig RAM in use just to find a component? I can open an empty rep and search for a model to change display and it does the same thing.
It does the same results on other machines so it is not my hardware.
Has anyone else seen this issue?
