Summary - "Not defined" Datums points on curve surface (WF 4 build m160)

Pro Gurus,

Below is the response that I have received.

For unknown reason, it still doesn't work. As soon as I drag one green box
to either references plane, the point snap into the plane with a value of
zero. I try to double click on the zero and put a different number in but
it would not take it. If I select the point itself where white box become
black, drag it away from the references it snap right back.

Oddly, I have no problem adding the points at the sub level assembly though.

I find a temporally fix by copying and paste the contour surface. Bingo I
am able to add the points now. However, I am still don't know what the
root cause is.

... try selecting the offset references with the ctrl key down, or drag
green boxes to the desired references.
