Hi, I have an assembly file with a family table consisting of multiple instances and what I need to do is create a way for Pro/e to total the number of times a component is repeated in the assembly and then post that quantity as a parameter (or any way that can be added as a column in the family table).
I am making tabulated (aka family) drawings; the insert below is an example. My Generic is the default file the table reads and I Filter on and off information from the table I don't want the columns to show. The columns 'A' - 'F' are dimension, the next six will be used similar to a BOM. To temporarily get me through the problem I've created a few Parameters for the columns 'RETURN LINER QTY' and 'RETURN ANGLE QTY' and simply added those parameters to my family table. This is simple, but it's not automated as I would like.
The rpt.qty parameter will not work in this table, or at least I do not know how to make it work within the table to give me the correct information.
Has anyone else come across this need or does anyone have an idea on how to go about it?
