Trail Files

I want to learn how to use Trail files and have been wasting hours trying to find out how.  I also would like some stable trail files that I can use to demo them in classes.  I have search in Creo help, in the PTC Community, online on various sites.  I've played around with it.  Nothing seems to work the way I expect it too.

Please someone save me from wasting more time on this. 

I tried doing the "Play Trail File" and it doesn't work.  The trail file always exits the software.

- How to edit trail files?

- How to play trail files?

- How to ensure that the trail file stops before exiting the Creo Parametric so I show what the file did?

etc.

Nothing is ever easy with PTC and Creo.  Ever.
