View sketch that is behind a solid

Hi,

In other CAD applications you can see a sketch that is shadowed behind a solid component. How to get this behavior in CREO (4.0)? I have an assembly drawing, and in one view I would like to see assembly sketch elements on the same "level" as the object lines, however since they are behind a part I can't see them.

Thanks

Rick

Do you have an example of what you are after?

Sketches obey hidden line rules in drawings and models so using a x-section (full or local) to show hidden geometry.

I think I'm missing the point completely though.

Right Steve thanks for your reply..

I could see the sketch if  I created a section parallel to the view, but I want to see it through the pieces on top. I hoped I could use edge display to bring them out of hidden mode, but that command can't select sketch lines (grrrr). I have sketched a pulley trajectory inside a case, I could move the sketch to a new plane on top, but then those lines would look wrong in a side view.
