Weld specification number in drawing table

We are using the welding module in Creo but we are having problem obtaining the weld spesification number in reeat regions in the table on the drawing. Like sequence ID and rod material is no problem, however &weldasm.weld.SPECIFICATION_NUMBER or &SPECIFICATION_NUMBER does not work, link to the documentation are here: https://support.ptc.com/help/creo/creo_pma/r9.0/usascii/index.html#page/welding/About_General_Parameters.html#

We guess it is not possible with repeat region to collect sequence ID with the same specification number or?

Hi kskatun,

Welcome to the PTC Community!

Thank you for your question.

I’d like to recommend to bring more details and context to your initial inquiry.

It also helps to have screenshot(s) to better understand what you are trying to do in your process.

This will increase your chances to receive meaningful help from other Community members.

Regards,

Anurag

@anursingh Thanks for the feeback , In the picture below we would like to fill out the information in the table. We are able to get the weld sequence number in, however the 3 other fields we are struggeling with. The weld process should be in the WPS column.

Its listed in general parameters, however we can not locate it when we double click on a cell:

The other two parameters are custom parameters that can be obtained by &weldasm.weld.Inspection

I found a way to do it.

the problem is as the PTC documenation states "this parameter is note copied to the weld features"

you need to add an relation in your preference for the weld in question.
this relation points to the "SPECIFICATION_NUMBER" parameter which is found in the "process object" as a weld feature parameter.
