When adding Integer 1 in unattached note in creo drawing, its printing as I, attached the Image.
The same is working in my colleague's creo.
Any configuration need to be done?
Creo Version : 9.0.3
This isn't an error, it is the result when you are using the default "font" (that is its name) for text. This default font is pretty terrible, in that a capital "I", lower case "l" and the number "1" all look like what you have in your image.
I use "isofont" for all of my text and it has distinct representations of all three of these characters.
To specify this for drawings I have a setting in my "drwsetup.dtl" file that says:
default_annotation_font isofont.ndx
Unfortunately, if there is already text defined in a drawing, this setting won't affect it. It only affects new stuff.
Alternatively you can replace the default font with a modified version and that will effect everything but it will also need to be copied to all machines (including a publisher) that are running Creo.
There is modified copy posted in this thread:
https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/FONT/td-p/416262
PTC's official position is that they recommend that everyone switch to a truetype font like Arial:
We switched our default font to ISOFONT a few years ago to avoid that issue.
We have not made the switch to TrueType fonts, yet.
Using a modified copy of font leads to issues, so stated. You need to copy it to all of your computers that run Creo. You also will have issues if you send a file to someone who does not have your modified file installed as the text will revert back to the OOTB font look.
