I’m at a loss with this problem. I've noticed
that the file size of some of my simple models seem to be very large at times. Here is
one example. A washer 1" ID washer with some radii. I created it with a revolve
and some extrudes. It has one draft feature but if I delete that feature and
resave, the file size hardly changes. The accuracy of the model is absolute at
.0001". I have tried changing that too but it doesn't seem to effect the
.PRT model size. The file size of this example is 27,700KB
Creo Parametric 2.0 M50
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jay wrote in response to below and my file size went from 27,700 KB to 350 KB. Thanks Jay!
Mike,
One thing I have noticed in other versions of ProE, yes I
still call it ProE, is the config option for save_model_display. If it is
set to shaded, the file size increases dramatically. Set to wireframe and
the file size is ten times smaller. Good Luck with the
troubleshooting.
Regards,
Jay
